ALECTRYON tomentosus (Woolly Rambutan)

A small native tree with an attractive spreading canopy up to 5 metres, bears clusters of small red flowers in January to February. A showy versatile tree with contrasting coppery new growth and small fruit capsules which are bird attracting. It is hardy, frost and drought resistant.
