A medium native rainforest tree (8-12 metres) with a rounded form and attractive lime green new leaves contrasting against the mature deep green foliage. It is indigenous to North Queensland, has an attractive trunk which looks like raw silk and bears bright pink/red flowers which occur terminally in large clusters in spring.
