BRACHYCHITON acerifolius x bidwillii ‘Red Robin’ grafted

A small native tree (5-8 metres) with rounded canopy, produces a brilliant display of deep red flowers on red stems in spring to summer and is semi deciduous when flowering. It has large, lush acer-shaped leaves. It is a stunning small tree, hardy, frost and drought tolerant.

A dense, small, evergreen native tree (5-7 metres) with attractive bronze new foliage and holly-shaped leaves. Is a hardy, ideal as a small feature tree, hedge or for screening and is power line friendly.

SYZYGIUM Cascade

A highly decorative large bushy shrub/small tree growing to around 3.5-4 metres by 2.5m wide, has a slight weeping habit, attractive bright pink new foliage and bears masses of pink powder-puff style flowers in November to December. It is a natural cross between S. luehmannii and S. wilsonii. Will grow in full sun or part shade.

TRISTANIOPSIS laurina Luscious ‘DOW10’ (Water Gum)

A medium native rainforest tree (7-12 metres) which is an improved form of Tristaniopsis laurina, producing large, shiny green foliage, luscious in appearance, that is nearly double the size of the original Tristaniopsis. A great native alternative to Magnolias and Photinias. It bears perfumed golden yellow flowers in summer which are bird and butterfly attracting, new growth is tinged with copper and the bark is an interesting feature with a striking port colour that peels back to reveal a mottled cream trunk and branches. It is hardy and tolerates frosts, droughts and will grow in a wide range of soils. Suited for street plantings, avenues, hedges, screens or as a shade tree.
